Artists' Bios

Brian Kane (aka BK) was born in Worcester, MA, USA, and studied painting at the Rhode Island School of Design. He was a founding member of the innovative audio/video group Emergency Broadcast Network, in which Brian pioneered the art and technology of video sampling. He has worked extensively in the commercial computer graphics field for the entertainment and internet industries, and his artwork has been shown internationally. Brian has been working with Amorphic Robot Works since 1995, and is also a general partner in RadioValve.com. He currently lives in Cambridge, MA, USA, where he is the Director of Streaming Technology for WGBH and a consultant to the ITV industry.

Brian Comerford (aka DJ E23) was born in California and grew up in Dallas-Ft. Worth where he was turned on to Ecstasy and Acid House in the late '80s. He has a BA in English and Media, and a background in radio and the nightclub industry. He is currently pursuing his Masters in Digital Media Studies at the University of Denver. He has performed on three continents with the likes of Richie Hawtin, Aphrodite and Mickey Finn as well as interviewing many of the biggest names in Electronica including John Acquaviva, Funkstorung, Paul van Dyk, Plaid, Donald Glaude and Kim Cascone. He has been featured as a guest speaker and moderator on the subject of digital music at conferences in London, New York, L.A. and Hong Kong. He is a co-founder and Program Director for RadioValve.com.

David Fodel (aka devslashnull) was born in Baltimore, MD, USA in 1960. He has produced electronic music and media art for over 20 years. His work has been presented at the International Symposium on Electronic Art and written about in WIRED Magazine. Recent releases of his music include the Obliq Records Compilation and Moonshine Music's Spaced Out DVD. He is a co-founder and Station Manager of Radiovalve.com and currently lives in Boulder, CO, USA with his 2 children and partner of 18 years.
